A sought after collectible rare find most definitely! This vintage Mother of Pearl Evans evening bag is lovely and a rare and high fashion vintag bag in complete condition. The bright brilliant sophisticated gold color and Mother of Pearl front on this bag are really pretty. The exterior is in excellent condition and quite clean with very little wear. The interior has no damage or odor. There is a mirror, lipstick, coin (nickel) holder, powder puff, powder compact, and comb on one side. 
The other side is empty so you can place credit cards, money, and loose cigarettes.
 
A true collectible piece in all sense and how very usable - can be carried in the day time or can be carried with a party wear with all your make up essential meticulously carried in a petite clutch.
 
The compact box also comes with a baby pink applicator and is in clean condition.

The History of Evans Case Company
The Evans Case Company of North Attleboro, MA was a huge concern making accessories in America. Manufacturing between 1920 and 1960. Colonel Obed Robinson who was a skilled blacksmith & clock maker began a jewellery / jewelry business in Attleboro in 1807. The 1812 war meant that soldiers needed buttons & so production was changed to suit this purpose.
