Made to look just like real high jewellery, this emerald and clear Swarovski and paste dazzles in the look of crown jewels. The classic design is made for the ultimate sophisticated refined high end glamour. Much like the design and quality of Harry Winston, this WEISS necklace from the 1940s features a slender white metal chain with a series of clear paste crystals dancing through the string all the way up to the end of the necklace which ends in a strikingly contrasting emerald Swarovski drop at the back. But the breathtaking beauty of the necklace is centered around its sun pendant which is made in magnificently baguette cut 19 clear Swarovski crystals set meticulously in a sun ray design which centers 9 smaller brilliant emerald Swarovski crystals and at the center is a bigger emerald Swarovski crystal.

The long shiby crystal chain is linked to the bedazzling pendant with a tear drop emerald Swarovski crystal. The detailing of the necklace is to die for, which is seen in the detailing of the end of the necklace where a streak of strand with an emerald Swarovski crystal hangs after the clasp (Please see its photo on the jewellery stand).

The necklace has four rings for closure at different lengths that makes it adjustable to wear it at a preferred length and make it shorter or slighty longer.

The hint of strikingly stunning emerald colored Swarovski againts clear white magnificently cut crystals brings a brilliant sophistication to this piece of collectible jewel.

The quality and craftmanship of this crown jewel require another spotlight. the necklace is nearly 80+ years old and yet its brilliance is like that of a real diamond. There is no missing crystal, not even a spec of a mark anywhere. Just an incredibly brilliant piece of art.

All we can say is the photographs and videos cannot do justice to this incredible beauty how it looks in real.

It is a rare collectible piece that we are proud to have acquired from an auction in London in the summer of 2022. We held it close to our heart for the last two years contemplating whether to let this rare collectible piece go for we never know if we can find such a collectible jewel again, but we decided it is our duty towards our Collectors to bring them the finest piece of vintage and antique collectible jewels. About WEISS Jewellery company:

Albert Weiss founded his company in New York in 1942. Weiss imported rhinestone from Austria, created ornaments by hand. The design and quality were on top, and because of it, many ladies began to change such loud brands as Dior, Chanel, Haskell to jewelry from Weiss. Their standard of craftsmanship was exceptionally high and thus Weiss went on to become a hugely successful costume jewelry designer in the 1950's and 1960's.

Weiss' look was based more on paste than on metalwork, and indeed the settings became no more than a mere mechanism for displaying as many rhinestones as could possible fit on a single piece

Weiss gave much importance to the quality of his stones and got many of his supplies from Austria, since these stones had a higher lead content and gave his pieces a particularly dazzling appeal.

Albert Weiss retired in 1969 leaving the directorship of the company to his son Michael. The popularity of the company continued for several years but finally Weiss Jewelry closed its doors in 1971. Today jewelry by Albert Weiss enjoys unprecedented popularity among the fashionistas and lovers of vintage.
