There was a time when jewellery did not announce itself.
It revealed itself—softly, deliberately, and always with grace.
This exquisite 1980s necklace is a quiet ode to that era.
Crafted in triple gold-plated gilt metal, its silhouette follows a gentle, near-choker form—designed to sit close to the neckline, just as necklaces once did in the late Georgian and Regency periods, the very world that Bridgerton draws its aesthetic from. An era where femininity was expressed through refinement—through delicate proportions, luminous crystals, and designs that felt almost like an extension of the wearer.
Along its length, the necklace is punctuated with dainty crystal-set stations—soft pink Swarovski stones paired with deeper amethyst-toned crystals, creating a play of light that feels romantic, not overpowering. At its centre, a gentle drop emerges—subtle, fluid, and perfectly weighted to draw the eye without demanding attention.
And completing the story—
a pair of perfectly matching dainty drop earrings, echoing the same amethyst and blush crystal composition. Light, feminine, and beautifully balanced, they frame the face with just enough sparkle—never excess.Together, they form a true parure—a set designed in harmony, not assembled as an afterthought.
This piece comes from our Forgotten London Edit—sourced from a historic London warehouse, once a supplier to major period productions including Bridgerton, ITV’s Joan, and the recent Wuthering Heights adaptation. It is precisely this provenance that places the design so effortlessly within the Bridgerton world—romantic, delicate, and steeped in a sense of time.
Despite being over four decades old, the set remains in exceptional, unworn condition—preserved as deadstock, now ready for a new collector.
Styling Notes:
This is a piece that moves with you—across moments, not just occasions.Wear it with a crisp white shirt for daytime—where the delicate sparkle softens structure. Let it rest against a chiffon saree or a fluid salwar silhouette, where its femininity finds a natural echo. It pairs just as effortlessly with a simple tank and denim—elevating the everyday without trying too hard.
For evenings, allow it to sit against bare skin—strapless or open necklines—where the central drop can come alive.
Keep the rest minimal. This set does not ask for competition.
The Woman Who Wears It:
She does not dress to impress—she dresses with understanding. There is an ease to her choices, but never accident. She is drawn to pieces that feel complete in themselves—designs that hold history, but live effortlessly in the present.
She appreciates softness—not as fragility, but as intention.
She knows that elegance is not created in a moment—it is carried. And when she wears something delicate, it is never to disappear—
it is to be remembered, quietly.
Provenance
These earrings come from a remarkable discovery — deadstock from a historic London jewellery warehouse that closed its doors in the late 1980s. Decades later, the warehouse was rediscovered and reopened, revealing untouched vintage inventory preserved exactly as it was when the business ceased operations.
Today, this archive supplies rare pieces to film and production houses such as Bridgerton, Joan, and other major costume productions, alongside a select circle of vintage dealers.
To encounter such pieces in unworn condition after more than four decades is exceptionally rare.
