There are pieces one wears… and then there are pieces that seem to belong to a world already written in poetry.

This necklace arrives from that world.

Drawn from our Bridgerton Collection, it carries the unmistakable language of late Georgian and early Regency sensibilities—the kind you see echoed in Bridgerton:
short, collarbone-grazing silhouettes…
delicate articulation…
and a romance that rests not in excess, but in restraint.

Crafted in the 1980s yet inspired by a far older aesthetic lineage, this piece features luminous red Swarovski crystals, each one set like a whispered bloom, framed by triple gold-plated gilt metal. The gentle rhythm of floral motifs and softly linked forms mirrors the jewellery once worn in candlelit drawing rooms—where elegance was intimate, not announced.

Its provenance is no less compelling.

It comes from a 19th-century London warehouse, long closed and only recently rediscovered—its pieces untouched for decades. This very source has quietly supplied costume jewellery to period productions such as Bridgerton, Joan, and the recent adaptation of Wuthering Heights.

To hold it is to hold something that has lived behind the scenes of stories the world now romanticises.

And yet—what makes this piece truly remarkable is not just where it has been, but how effortlessly it belongs today.

It sits close to the neck, almost like a second skin—
equally at ease with a crisp white shirt at a morning meeting,
as it is with a chiffon saree under evening lights.

It softens a structured blazer.
It elevates a simple tank and denim.
It completes a salwar suit without trying too hard.

This is not jewellery reserved for occasions.

This is jewellery for a woman who does not wait for one.

She understands nuance.
She chooses detail over display.
There is a certain grace in how she carries herself—measured, assured, never loud.
The kind of woman who would have belonged just as naturally in a Regency ballroom… as she does in a modern city.

This necklace does not transform her.

It simply recognises her.

Provenance

These earrings come from a remarkable discovery — deadstock from a historic London jewellery warehouse that closed its doors in the late 1980s. Decades later, the warehouse was rediscovered and reopened, revealing untouched vintage inventory preserved exactly as it was when the business ceased operations.

Today, this archive supplies rare pieces to film and production houses such as Bridgerton, Joan, and other major costume productions, alongside a select circle of vintage dealers.

To encounter such pieces in unworn condition after more than four decades is exceptionally rare.
