There are pieces that decorate.
And then there are pieces that define.

This set belongs to the latter.

Crafted in the 1980s in rich triple gold-plated gilt metal, this necklace and earrings set is a study in structure, contrast, and precision—where every element has been placed with intention.

The necklace begins with a finely constructed chain of elongated oval bar links, interspersed with delicate connectors. This creates a light yet architectural base—allowing the design to unfold with clarity across the neckline.

The composition is built around two distinct motifs.

The first—crystal rosettes—are centred with luminous lime-green Swarovski crystals, surrounded by deeper emerald stones and softer peridot-toned accents. Each stone is precisely set, forming a structured floral cluster that feels both vibrant and controlled.

Between these sit the second element—bezel-set solitaires.
Striking, vivid green crystals, framed in scalloped gold settings, offering moments of visual pause and strength within the design.

The arrangement follows a deliberate rhythm:
rosette, solitaire, rosette, solitaire.

This interplay creates a balance between intricacy and clarity—never overwhelming, always composed.

The earrings echo this language perfectly.
Each features a miniature rosette, suspended from a slender vertical link and hook fitting, allowing gentle movement while maintaining form and elegance.

The gold tone is warm and saturated—enhancing the brilliance of the greens without competing with them.

What defines this set is its clarity of intent.

Nothing here is hesitant.

The colour is confident.
The structure is precise.
The repetition is disciplined.

This is for a woman who does not rely on neutrality.

She understands colour.
She knows how to place it.
She wears it with control.

With a white shirt, it becomes striking.
With black, it sharpens.
With Indian wear—especially deeper tones—it becomes almost regal.

This is not a soft romantic piece.

This is structured femininity with presence.

(Lush, composed, and unmistakably defined.)

Provenance

These earrings come from a remarkable discovery — deadstock from a historic London jewellery warehouse that closed its doors in the late 1980s. Decades later, the warehouse was rediscovered and reopened, revealing untouched vintage inventory preserved exactly as it was when the business ceased operations.

Today, this archive supplies rare pieces to film and production houses such as Bridgerton, Joan, and other major costume productions, alongside a select circle of vintage dealers.

To encounter such pieces in unworn condition after more than four decades is exceptionally rare.
