The Aquamarine Palais Ring
An extraordinary 1980s silver-plated statement ring centred around a luminous aquamarine glass crystal in the most ethereal shade of crystalline blue -  reminiscent of sunlight falling upon the waters of the French Riviera. The emerald-cut stone catches light beautifully, glowing with an almost liquid translucence that gives the ring its unmistakable old-world glamour.
 
Surrounding the central crystal is an intricate arrangement of delicate paste work, meticulously set across layered silver-plated bands that curve around the finger like architectural ribbons. Each tiny rhinestone has been individually placed to create a curtain of sparkle around the aquamarine centre - the kind of craftsmanship so characteristic of vintage jewellery from an era when even costume jewellery was made with remarkable care, weight, and artistry.
 
One of the loveliest surviving details is its original 1980s tag still attached to the ring - a rare little time capsule from the decade it was first presented to the world.
