Each circular earring features a finely textured gold face framed by a double twisted-rope border. Across the surface, six faceted crystals in shades of blue, green, red and purple sit in individual raised gold settings. Their scattered arrangement gives the design its charm, while the contrast between the textured background, polished border and sparkling crystals creates detail far beyond their modest size.
 
Crafted in triple gold-plated gilt metal and measuring approximately 2.5 × 2.5 cm, they offer a compact statement that sits neatly at the earlobe. The clip-on fastening makes them suitable for unpierced ears, with an easy, comfortable feel.
 
Their London provenance
Part of the same specialist London warehouse collection as our other vintage discoveries, these earrings are original deadstock, never pre-owned, beautifully preserved in excellent, as-new condition.
 
The warehouse supplies vintage jewellery to film and television costume departments and production houses, including productions such as Bridgerton, Joan and Wuthering Heights. It is a wonderful source of pieces chosen for their character, decorative detail and ability to complete a look.
 
These earrings now await a wardrobe - and a story - of their own.
 
A little colour through the day
Wear them with a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a few fine gold chains for a coffee date or a catch-up with friends. The crystals bring colour close to the face; the gold makes the simplest clothes feel beautifully finished.
For work, pair them with an ivory blouse and navy tailoring. A single fine chain or small gold pendant offers a lovely accompaniment. With a high neckline, let the earrings stand alone.
 
Their varied colours also make them wonderfully adaptable to a salwar suit: pick up the green, blue or purple in your dupatta, or let them brighten an all-white ensemble.
 
Beautiful after dark
